Hi I'm new here too.

I've had eating issues since I was 15, I'm 20 now.  I just started therapy, but I don't think she really understands me yet. That's okay though because I don't want to gain any weight anytime soon.  Yesterday I was really good and didn't eat much. I normally work out a lot every morning and barely eat all day (snack on cucumbers, small apples, rice cakes) and at dinner time I try not to eat unless my boyfriend is around.

My stats:

5'4, currently 93 lbs (it fluctuates to 95ish though)

HW: 120
LW: 85

I have a huge biopsych exam tonight so I doubt I'll be eating much today.  I had a piece of low cal bread with low cal jam on it and some tea. Now it's time to work out.

Hi, I'm new here and just tought that I might get introduced. I'm 19 and have been counting my calories since I was 15. I think I might be anorexic but I only got sick once when I stopped eating altogheter. I'm healthy now and excerisise allot. I'm also in NY now and have lost about 10 pounds since I got here. I think the best secret to loosing weight is to stop eating fast food altogheter and walk about 20 miles a week. I only eat one good meal a day with perhaps some yougurt in the morning. But I really want to get to 105 before I return home.

Does anyone chew their food and then spit it out? I have done that allday today. It seems to help with the cravings. Like if I crave something I will chew it and spit it out then throw it away. I dont know if this helps with loosing weight faster or what?? Thanks

Ok so today all I had was some brocolli, asparagus, squash and fish. Oh and a granols bar. Total it came to be 300 cals. I think that is ok for today. I mean considering I have been eating like a pig. I plan to restrict like this going not over 500 cals a day for like a week then switching to the juices. Do you all think that is a good idea? Also does anyone play DDR? Dance dance revolution? I was wondering if that is a good workout and is it fun? Where do I get it? Thanks girls!

This is my first post to this community. My stats are as follows:

I guess i just want to be 110 lbs. in the long run, but I really need some help and support and motivation. I've started a moderate fast today and am hoping to drop some much needed lbs. very quickly (I always had a slow metabolism). I don't know exact lb. numbers because I've always been scared of scales and refuse to weigh myself.

In any case, if anyone would like to chat on aim, my sn is julabula8d. Say hi if ya can and we can be support buds. :)

CW: 122 (gross) this summer but I don't have a scale at school..hopefully I'm a little thinner by now

I've been bulimic for a few years (starting my sophomore yr of high school) and I've just started college. Binging/purging DEFINITELY doesn't make me thin so I'm hoping to finally get some will power and stop eating so much :-(

Not sure if this is the right kind of "tip" but a great snack/sweet fix is frozen grapes. They taste like sorbet, they're only 2 cal each, and they don't send out "weird diet food" signals to the ppl you live with!

i dont really have any goal weights, i just want to maintain but its very very hard. ya well thats about it.

hey guys i'm new.
i see there aren't a lot of people here so i'm going to try to post a lot and make this journal not dead. i was looking at another 5'4 community, and they were bitchy, like 'you have to have a bmi of 17.5 or less' whatever.

Hi folkes, I know I've got a long way to go but I'm getting there fast. Support from communities like this has really been helping, and being 5'4" myself I thought this one would be great :) I'm doing a good little short burst fasting plan just now and it's working great.
